Terry is a purple tree with four branches, two functioning as arms and the other two as antlers. They are shown to be able to move their arms and top, albeit they are rather stiff. They most likely are mobile as well, as they knew were Dr. Strangeglove's hideout was. Their bush surrounds their face, giving off an appearance of a mane, almost, and a beard, hence their name. Their nose is a branch growing downward and cut-off. As a little detail, Terry has a pink flower - the same pink as their eyes - on the left side of their head.

The blue bird on their left branch shares resemblance in design to Chirpy, whose species are native in the Wobbly Woods. They might as well thus be a member of the Chipper Chaffinch species.
