As the years passed, Rhy became an Initiate in the Jedi order under Master Urak, a Jedi of an unknown species. Bendon was also a close cousin with the Keetem's, but during his life, he remained far from them. Rhy became a master of illusion techniques, and many people wished to learn from Urak and Bendon. Together, the two Jedi led campaigns to defeat Sith, even though Rhy became a Grey Jedi, and forced his way into the Sith ways. Bendon passed his legacy down and founded the Helm of Darkness as he became a full Jedi. Urak did not approve the Helm, but Rhy managed to squeeze his way out of Urak's requests, and his power was concealed in the deadly trap. The Helm consumed him, and the power inside it gave him unbelievable strength, which was considered stronger than the Sith Lords themselves. Rhy often used his illusion abilities to conquer a stronger foe, or one that seemed to have been a powerful attacker. Bendon's half-mentor, Urak, went out in means to destroy Rhy when the Helm of Darkness had fully consumed him, and evidently, the elder master succeeded.
