The book was later retitled Tickle Me: My Name is Elmo and reprinted as a Little Golden Book in 1997, to cash in on the Tickle Me Elmo craze. In 1999, Random House reprinted the book as a Junior Jellybean Book under the original title. Random House published a new version in 2009 under the title Furry Faces: Elmo!, with a plush Elmo head on the front cover.
