Layman Utsman (May 5, 1933 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Bluff City, TN. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career. His first race came in 1959, when Utsman debuted at Weaverville. Starting 17th in the field of twenty-nine, Utsman had midrace spindle woes and ended up 26th. Despite another DNF later in the year at North Wilkesboro, Utsman still ended that race in 20th. He was unable to improve in his 1961 race, coming at Bristol. Starting 38th in the field, Utsman only completed thirty-five laps before falling out of the race and finishing last (42nd).
