  • That's Entertainment is episode 5b of Season 3 of WordGirl.
  • "That's Entertainment" was sung by a chorus of Muppet pigs that had taken over The Muppet Theatre, including Miss Piggy and Annie Sue, in episode 224 of The Muppet Show. A version of the song with some lyrical changes was sung by Miss Piggy while she experienced the Universal Studios tour in the Jim Henson Hour special Miss Piggy's Hollywood. Miss Piggy's version focused on Hollywood effects and stunts, but notes they're not enough with a star (specifically, her). One of the most notable alterations was the new couplet "the effects/may be better than sex." Sesame Street had parodied the song as "That's Pretending."

Summary
  • The Energy Monster escapes from prison by draining energy from the electric fence, then disguises itself as a power plant worker to get even more power. At the Botsford house, a power outage interrupts the Pretty Princess and Magic Pony Power Hour weekend marathon and stops Mrs. Botsford’s hair dryer, leaving her with poodle hair. Mr. Botsford uses the outage as an opportunity to gather the family around for stories and games. When Becky gets word of the Energy Monster's escape, she and Bob sneak away and pay a visit to the power plant to capture him.
