The Anteater echidna is an echidna that almost resembles a giant anteater. Its tongue is more powerful than a short-nosed echidna's and its tongue is the length of an anteater's. It has longer feet and claws. It has a tail like a giant anteater's tail. It is an insectivore. It lives in the forests in Australia, in tunnels near the Amazon River, in tunnels in South America, Central America, and in tunnels near Mexico, but also in Australian outbacks and in tunnels near Australian rivers.
