The District of Vrassa, better known as Vrassa Proper is a district of the larger Kalistani province of Vrassa. Its capital is Vrassa City, also the capital of the province. It is divided in half by the fertile valley of the Vrassa River, a number of whose tributaries run south from Poppistan to provide their own fertile valleys. While these valleys are heavily populated and sometimes industrial, most of the surrounding land, part of the arid Vrassan Plateau, is sparsly settled. Like its neighboring region of Poppistan, the leading agriculture product of Vrassa is opium, grown on the plateau, though the province also grows significant amounts of coca in its elevated southwest corner.
