Along with this, Benjamin has also co-written a book entitled How I Trained Algernon with Stephen Rosenfield. Benjamin enjoys training animals and has owned a number of pets; chickens, ducks, a ferret, a monkey, a mynah bird, an opossum, a raccoon and a skunk, and wishes to obtain a fox.
