Zusammen mit dem Bullen Jumbo wurde sie schon im Folgejahr nach Frankreich importiert und lebte dort zunächst mit Jumbo auf der Elefantenanlage im Zoo La Boissière-du-Doré in der gleichnamigen Ortschaft im Département Loire-Atlantique. Zusammen verweilten sie dort bis 1994.

Shiima chose to use Bamba, even to the surprise of Bazoo, as a means to eliminate all the mothers of Earth, believing that eliminating the love of a mother will ruin children and therefore ruin society. However, Sayaka ends up discovering that the ruining of emotions doesn't work on children who had already lost their mother and have found joy in other ways, as she discovers through two children who were immune to the plan. Shiima and Bamba target Sayaka and the children due to her plan and try to separate the youngest away, but Change Mermaid protects them up to the end. Ultimately, Sayaka uses all of her abilities in consecutive attack to weaken Bamba before destroying it with the Power Bazooka. After being rebuilt, Bamba had to be struck by several attacks, including several slashes of the Dengeki-Ken, before it could be completely stopped by the Super Thunderbolt attack.Ep. 12: Mama is Mermaid

Zusammen mit dem Bullen Jumbo wurde sie schon im Folgejahr nach Frankreich importiert und lebte dort zunächst mit Jumbo auf der Elefantenanlage im Zoo La Boissière-du-Doré in der gleichnamigen Ortschaft im Département Loire-Atlantique. Zusammen verweilten sie dort bis 1994. In jenem Jahr wurden beide Elefanten an die Planète Sauvage im nahe gelegenen Port-Saint-Père abgegeben. Es ist nicht genau bekannt, auf welche Elefanten Bamba und Jumbo dort stießen. Der "Wild-Planet" hatte erst 1992 eröffnet. Möglicherweise lebten dort bereits die Afrikanischen Kühe Kiki und Zulu. Zulu starb in Port-Saint-Père mit 28 Jahren im Jahr 2000. Jumbo folgte ihr am 13.07.2003 (nach der Attacke einer älteren Kuh) in den Tod. Er war bisher der einzige Elefantenbulle in der "Planète", so dass für die Kühe keine Zuchtgelegenheit bestand. Im Frühjahr 2003 kamen die beiden Afrikanerinnen Flossie und Flora nach Port-Saint-Père, von denen Flossie bereits ein Jahr später ebenfalls starb. Danach lebte Bamba für einige Monate mit Kiki und Flora zusammen. Im Dezember 2004 kam dann die bislang letzte Afrikanerin des Kölner Zoos, Pretti, in die Planète Sauvage. Diese war nun die älteste der vier Afrikanerinnen, die im Safaripark seitdem zusammen auf einer sechs Hektar großen Anlage leben. Bald nach Prettis Ankunft wurde berichtet, dass Bamba mit ihr Freundschaft geschlossen und zwischen ihr und den anderen Kühen vermittelt habe. Jüngere Nachrichten aus Port-Saint-Père liegen nicht vor.
