- Christopher Bruce "Big Indian" Evans (born September 14, 1946, in Toronto, Ontario – died May 9, 2000) is a former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings, and Kansas City Scouts. He played in the World Hockey Association with the Calgary Cowboys, Birmingham Bulls, and Quebec Nordiques. From 1970 to 1975 Evans played for four different NHL teams as well as spent time in the minors. In 1975 he jumped to the WHA and played for three teams in four years in that league.
