Fire Boar It is still possible to roleplay purple dragon knight without actually taking the prestige class. The Purple Dragon Knights of Cormyr were probably one of the most renowned knightly factions in Faerun, wide-diversity of skill and stuff, so it wouldn't be hard to implement a build to fit it.
