The planet had only two hangar bays, one was for prisoners, and one for the garrison and visitors. The Zan Pirates used the planet to drop off those whom they had kidnapped. Few ever discovered where the pirates had gone, which made this place an ideal position. They also had an agreement with the guards that as long as they did not reveal the existence of the pirates, they would be protected and get a bit of the glory in the conquest of the galaxy.
