Edward Redding was the 32nd Governor-General of New Englia and the second oldest person to hold the position. He served previously as the 31st Vice-General of New Englia for Raymond Albright and was the Ambassador to Dovani for 27 years. Redding's two terms as governor-general will likely be remembered for the rapid economic growth that occured during his first two years in office. Redding also brought New Englia back into the space age by signing the Federal Space Act of 2964 into law. Redding declared his intention to retire at the end of his term due to health issues during a joint-session of congress. Redding died one year later on February 5, 2970 from a heart attack and is buried at Lucas National Cemetery.
