Dom was the first person they met who Beth recognised. He greeted her as "the best kisser in year nine" and had a quick grab of her backside as they hugged, much to Kirk's discomfort. Neither was he pleased when Dom reminded Beth of what they used to get up to in the long grass at the back of the PE block. Dom went quiet though when Beth asked if "Lindsey the louse" had come along and excused himself to take a phone call. When Beth did bump into Lindsey, she was shocked to find out that she and Dom were now married. Lindsey hadn't changed one iota and boasted to Beth about her own significant progress in life while sniping at her. Beth tried to cover with fictional tales about her own achievements but eventually lost her temper and confessed the truth to Lindsey, telling her that although she and Kierk might not have much, they were truly happy together and loved each other to pieces. Behind Lindsey's back, Dom grinned, demonstrating that all was not as happy in their marriage as perhaps his wife was trying to make out. Humiliated, Lindsey stalked out, with Dom sheepishly following her.
