The RG7CSD1 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual active EMG humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls with Sure Grip II knobs and a locking nut. The RG7CSD1 was produced in limited numbers and was made only in 2000. The RG6CSD1 is a similar six-string model with a single humbucker.
