Daenism (Aldegarian: File:Dīn-e bīdāri.png Dīn-e Bīdāri; Gao-Indralan: 法教 Hōkyō or Fǎjiào) is a religion and philosophy formed of numerous traditions, beliefs, and practices, based on the teachings of Bahram Bidar. Daenism was born in Aldegar in the 1st century CE, based on the interaction between numerous philosophic and religious schools of thought, and with the background of ancient Yazdism. Daenism focuses on the liberation from suffering and its causes, escaping the cycle of rebirth, and achieving enlightenment. Although there is much variation within Daenism, the basis of Daenic teaching are the Three Jewels: the Bīdār (the Buddha), the Daēnā (the teachings), and the Sanghā (the community). As a result of its spread into Dovani, Daenism became one of the largest Terran religions.
