  • El Rager es una variante de locust que apareció a principios de la Guerra Locust. Se caracteriza principalmente porque al recibir demasiado daño físico se transforma en una enorme bestia. No fueron parte importante dentro de las filas de la Horda, y, siendo usados casi en su totalidad en misiones de alto peligro, ante su imprudencia natural se extinguieron (casi completamente).
  • Class-1’s are the ones who have short-duration temper blowouts, usually just enough to swing a couple times or break something. Class-2’s are the ones who once they got going, keep going until they are taken down, restrained or they wear themselves out. Class 3 ragers are the nightmares, people who not only go on long, tearing, violent outbursts, but who actually become more deadly when they are raging.
  • Ragers were faced by Kilo Squad in the Destruction of Halvo Bay. They were first encountered at the Halvo Bay Academy outside of the R&D labs and continue to appear through the Academy, a number of them also appeared at Seahorse Hills, they became an obstacle in Kilo's way while some explosives were about to detonate. They would shortly after lay siege to Kurt Elliott's mansion. While Troy opened a door to reach the rooftops of Halvo Bay, a large number of transformed Ragers tried to destroy the bot. The Ragers almost overran Kilo Squad but they managed to fend off the attackers. Later, after Karn's supposed defeat, more Ragers attacked the squad on the rooftops of the city. "Raging" allows the rager to perform feats of incredible power and agility, usually in relation to fighting, which can allow them to take on hundreds or thousands of enemies successfully. Most also experience a loss of memory (ie not remembering killing their attackers, only 'waking up' once they are dead and the raging ends). Even without any martial training, ragers are natural fighters, and are considered 'one man/one woman armies.' The downside of these gifts is that while in full rager mode, a rager is usually incapable of controlling himself or herself, and has no thought towards his/her own self-preservation or anything else besides the target, leading them to crippling injuries or mutilation because they didn't defend themselves, or leading to their friends getting killed in the backwash. Even when not all out raging, a rager is usually hard-pressed to control their violent urges, and is thus prone to violence and killing, causing most ragers to be rejected from society as a whole.
