abstract
  • The Battle of Port Macquarie was a battle fought between NewAustralian forces and the Natural Conservation League. It began when NCL troops started to march towards New Sydney but were ambushed by NewAustralian troops in Port Macquarie. As NCL troops reached Port Macquarie, two AH-64 Apache helicopters on patrol detected their presence and reported it to the near by NewAustralian Army Base. Within minutes NewAustralian troops arrived at Port Macquarie and began firing upon the NCL. After 20 minutes of fighting between each side little progress had been made by either side. Support for NewAustralian troops was swift at the arrival of 300 M-1 Abrams tanks and 50 AH-64 Apache helicopters. In under an hour the NCL had ordered a full retreat.
