Rosa Barks is the pet poodle of the Hibbert family. Her name is an obvious play on the famous civil rights activist Rosa Parks, probably because of the fact that Dr. Hibbert and his family are of African-American descent. Santa's Little Helper mated with Rosa Barks, and sired a litter of puppies, with Dr. Hibbert pawned to the Simpsons family. Bart and Lisa give the puppies to various townspeople, including Krusty the Clown,Snake Jailbird and Groundskeeper Willie.
