It first appeared in Battle for New York, Part 2 when Kraang Subprime contacted the kraang at high base and ordered them to release it in order to stop the turtles from stealing a Kraang Stealth Ship that they used to make their way to a nearby Technodrome that they used to de-mutate the captured humans. The creature was then released and attacked their ship which caused them to crash into the Technodrome that they were heading to.
