By 1975, he was promoted to associate director and eventually became the primary director on Archie Bunker's Place from 1980-1983. He also directed the pilot to Welcome Back, Kotter and was director or associate director (often both) on Good Times, The Facts of Life, The Golden Girls, Night Court, Alice, Laverne & Shirley, and Fish. Other shows included ALF, Saturday morning series Mister T (directing Mr. T in live-action intros), Good Morning, Miss Bliss and its successor Saved by the Bell, Amen (with Sherman Hemsley), Coach, Reba, and Titus
