The Konoha-Getsu Treaty Squad was a squad of several ninja of high standing in Konoha, including several members of its Jōnin Council, who were sent, along with an escort, to Getsugakure in order to treat with it and live there for some months after the treaty, in order to make sure relations between the two villages became secure. It was composed of Kojimaru Sensōkajiya, Inosawa Yamanaka, and the younger son of the Daimyo. After the treaty was completed, they were assigned to remain there as permanent residents, with the act of their removal being considered an act of war, so that they became under the jurisdiction of Getsugakure.
