Intermediate Evil is a 2008 horror film based on the events of the Mean Teacher Tragedy that had occurred on June 22, 2006. The film is directed by George A. Romero, who also directed classic zombie films such as "Dawn of the Dead". In a movie interview, Romero says that when he first heard about the tragedy while watching a news bulletin on TV, he thought that it was too amazing to be true and that it would also make one hell of a movie, so he flew over to Massachusetts to get all of the facts as production began right away.
