- New Game+ is a feature found in Ōkami and Ōkamiden, and is unlocked by completing the game and saving when prompted after the credits. When the cleared game file is reloaded, a new game can be started with all previous stats and Divine Instruments, except the fifth of each type. Only the Holy Artifacts Peace Bell, Golden Lucky Cat, Wood Mat, and Golden Ink Pot can be transferred over to the new file. Celestial Brush techniques and key items are not transferred in either games, for their ability to disrupt the storyline. Allowing only some items to transfer ensures that the story is not disrupted in any way.
