Kai Jadi Yen was a male Nautolan and Jedi master, who's mission was to find the one depicted to defeat Malcadius. Kai traveled to Bespin, where he found his padawan, and took him to the Jedi base. Kai trained his apprentice in the ways of the Force, and saw great potential in him, but also greater chance that he would turn to the Dark Side. Kai Jadi Yen followed his enraged apprentice to Malcadius' base on Naboo, where he did battle with the Sith Lord. During the fight, Malcadius struck Kai in the chest with his lightsaber, but the Nautolan chopped off the Sith's hand with his own green lightsaber, before dying. His apprentice did battle with the Sith Lord, avenging his master by slashing the Sith in half. Kai Jadi Yen was cremated on Margassico.
