| - Conor Gough is a goalkeeper who joined Rovers in 2012 after having been released by Charlton Athletic. Although he didn't officially become a Rovers player until 1 July, he played the final game of the 2011–12 season after being brought in on an emergency loan deal to replace Scott Bevan, who was recovering from surgery. Conor's first full season in Bristol saw Bevan miss the entire campaign through injury, but manager Mark McGhee felt that Gough was not experienced enough to step up to the starting goalkeeper's role and brought in Sam Walker on loan from Chelsea, and later Neil Etheridge from Fulham. A management change in December 2012 didn't see a change in fortunes for Conor and new boss John Ward brought in Steve Mildenhall on loan from Millwall, restricting Conor to a single appearance when Mildenhall was unavailable due to injury.
