Thanks! — SpikeToronto 06:51, April 17, 2011 (UTC) I am opposed to this editor gaining permissions on this wiki. This user has his own wiki for admin testing, so why need the rights here? The user has demonstrated a misunderstanding of how to do things on this wiki repeatedly, I can see this user as what we call on the accounts-en-wiki-l mailing list, a rights hog. 75.38.211.111 (talk) 19:30, April 20, 2011 (UTC) @75.38.211.111: I like helping out, for your information. And you called me a hog??? How dare you? Head.Boy.Hog (Talk To Me) 22:32, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Bureaucrat Note: HBH, we always appreciate any help that our members can give. Perhaps, you could explain here on what tasks you are thinking of helping that require sysop privileges. It would help others reviewing your request to understand why you want them since it is not for testing, owning your own test site as you do. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 05:36, April 21, 2011 (UTC) File:Symbol question.svg Additional information needed HBH, in addition to the query above at the Bureaucrat note, would you please tell us if you have any accounts on Wikimedia Foundation projects (e.g., [[Wikipedia:|Wikipedia]], Wiktionary, Wikimedia Commons, etc.). Thanks! — SpikeToronto 05:49, April 21, 2011 (UTC) Well, I would test here aswell...And I do not have any accounts on any of those websites or any other ones. Only Wikia. Head.Boy.Hog (Talk To Me) 22:29, April 21, 2011 (UTC) Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Bureaucrat Note: I am afraid I am confused bitterly, and may have to leave others to the descision. I hope Head.Boy.Hog can be trusted in the future with Admin rights, but as SpikeToronto said: "It would help others reviewing your request to understand why you want them since it is not for testing, owning your own test site as you do.", it doesn't seem needy to have admin rights here when you have bureaucrat rights there. Thanks — Jempcorp {user page | talk} 10:02, April 22, 2011 (UTC). Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Bureaucrat Note: What makes you think "Stewards must take away their own rights if they are asked by another Steward" is possible, when w:c:testadmin:File:User Rights Management - Testing Admin Wiki - Jeff G. - 2011-03-20.png clearly shows it is not possible? — Jeff G. ツ 14:20, April 22, 2011 (UTC) Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Bureaucrat Note: Also, what makes you think "Do not offend the Wiki. (It is at the discretion of the Steward with Sysop rights whether you offended the Wiki)" is a good idea? — Jeff G. ツ 14:20, April 22, 2011 (UTC) Image:Ambox notice.svg UPDATE: Just close my request...I do not need rights here...Head.Boy.Hog (Talk To Me) 19:51, April 22, 2011 (UTC) Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: Just remember what I said to you HBH on my talk page: if there is anything you are trying to do as a sysop over at your test site that you do not understand (for example, the difference between project namespace and main namespace), you can ask on my talk page and I will help you as best I can. When we see that you have a better understanding of the MediaWiki software and the usual wiki-based policies, something which would become apparent as I work with you on any such questions you may have, you will become better positioned to seek sysop rights here. But not yet.
