Putting Cloud and Seph on one side while pairing Squall with a total fraud should have increased Cloud's percentage by a lot, but it didn't. People only really saw this poll as FF7 vs FF8, nothing extra, and Cloud/Seph needed a lot of "extra" to have any prayer of beating Link next round.
