| - Thurston, referred to only as Nobleman in game, is found in the large suite on the ground floor of the Candlekeep Inn alongside his wife. If you speak to him, he initiates dialog between you and his wife, who sometimes passes the dialog back to him. His name is given by his wife in one of the possible dialogue lines. Killing him results in reputation loss. Oddly enough, though his wife will not turn hostile by killing him and will still continue with her usual dialogue. It is worth to get a high reaction (by having a high reputation and charisma and/or a Friends spell) before talking to him, and have either a high Open locks skill or high strength, for example with the Barbarian Rage ability, to open the chest above.
