Kroda recognized that Gorgg's reputation would only decline from that point, and assigned him to train his fighters for the arena. Like his prior rival, Verax, Gorgg was equipped with a vocoder, which translated his speech into Basic real-time at some point before becoming Kroda's gladiator trainer. This proved to be a wise investment for the Hutt, given the position he took up after his mantle as champion was taken.
