Oak Grove Lutheran School opened in 1906 as the Oak Grove Lutheran Ladies Seminary. In 1926-27, it was renamed Oak Grove Seminary because boys were accepted into the school. In 1952, it was renamed Oak Grove Lutheran High School. In 1978, a junior high school was added. In 1999, it was renamed Oak Grove Lutheran School and because they had added sixth grade to the school, they changed it from being a senior and junior high to a senior high and middle school.
