| - On a farm, Daffy waits for his new Dick Tracy comic book to the tune of Raymond Scott's song "Powerhouse". The mailman then arrives and he gets the comic book. To the tune of the Poet and Peasant overture, he sprints to a corner of the farm and reads it. Then, he wishes to become Dick Tracy and then knocks himself out by accidentally punching himself.
- The Great Piggy Bank Robbery is a 1946 Looney Tunes short directed by Bob Clampett, voted no. 16 on Jerry Beck's The 50 Greatest Cartoons list, and a member of The 100 Greatest Looney Tunes list. The central character of the cartoon is Daffy Duck. While reading his beloved Dick Tracy comic book, Daffy knocks himself out -— upon which he enters a fantasy in which he is Duck Twacy, who has to investigate a conspicuous piggy bank robbery crime wave —- if only because his own precious piggy bank was stolen.
- The Great Piggy Bank Robbery was a Warner Bros. short released in 1946 and directed by Bob Clampett. The cartoon begins with Daffy Duck reading his favorite comic, but then he hits his head and dreams of himself being "Duck Twacy." He ventures out to find out where everyone's stolen piggy banks went, including his own. He squares off against gangsters such as "Neon Noodle" and "Rubberhead" and eventually kills them all with his machine gun and recovers his stolen piggy bank.
