The MR11 Gatekeeper is the Terran Republic's second unique AV weapon. Used as a secondary weapon on the Prowler, the Gatekeeper is a long range rocket launcher firing fast travelling projectiles to apply damage to enemy armor at medium to long range. Having a very high muzzle velocity of 450m/s allows the Gatekeeper to excel at hitting fast moving enemy vehicles at close to medium range as well as enemy armor at long range. It can even reliably hit aircraft when in the hands of an experienced gunner.

It can even reliably hit aircraft when in the hands of an experienced gunner. When using Anchor mode, the Prowler is an exceptionally effective long range siege tank. However, as the bonuses do not apply to the secondary weapon, the secondary gunner can often feel left out due to range constraints. The high muzzle velocity that the MR11 Gatekeeper provides allows the gunner to accurately fire on long range targets that other AV secondary weapons available to the Prowler may have trouble firing upon, making the Gatekeeper the perfect weapon choice for a Prowler crew using Anchor Mode. The MR11 Gatekeeper varies from the Harasser's MR11 Gatekeeper-H in only one way; whereas the Prowler's variant has a base magazine size of 30 missiles and an ammo pool of 300 in reserve, the Harasser instead has a base magazine size of 20 missiles with an ammo pool of 260. This means that the Prowler's Gatekeeper has a longer staying power than the Harasser's version. Other than this difference, the two variants are functionally identical.
