Simplicity 1639; ©1946; Misses' and Women's Housecoat: The dart-fitted bodice has extended shoulders and gathers at the shoulder seams. The dirndl skirt has a simulated fly and side pockets. A tie-belt is stitched to the bodice and fastens into a center front bow. In Style I, bows trim the shoulders. In Style II, the shoulder seam is only partly gathered and contrasting cuffs trim the armhole edges. Featured in Simplicity Prevue May 1946
