For 15 years she was a radio presenter with the station 'RMC', notably beside Jean-Pierre Foucault presenting "Le Carlotto", before presenting the shows alone at the weekends as well as presenting youth programmes with the station. She left 'RMC' in the years 1980/1982 to join RTL Television. Sophie was a 'TMC' spokesperson from 1970 to 1979 and for RTL Television in the 1980s. From September 1995 to June 1996, she was a producer on the TV show "Comme chez vous" on RTL-TVI. She died on 28 October 2012 at the age of 68 after undergoing an operation of an aortic aneurysm.
