Matsunaga “The Guardian Angel” (松永,Matsunaga) is a member of The Hakuri Pirates, he was assigned to be Tousen D. Xavier’s mentor and guardian. Having been raising Tousen since he was a baby, then becoming one of the things that Tousen considers a friend. Originally Matsunaga was an Oracle on small island in the grandline, whenever Demetrius had spirited away his son Tousen. Matsunaga had found him and with the orders from Demetrius, he was to raise him and then bring him back whenever he had turned 16.

As told, Matusnaga had trained Tousen in his devil fruit powers and in combat skills. Then returning to the Mother Hakuri whenever it had landed on Matsunaga’s island. With that Matsunaga has earned himself a bounty of File:Bsymbol10.gif 340,000,000 for such crimes as. His own series of crimes committed before he joined the Hakuri Crew, Tousen and him starting a cult like group. Trying to take over his island and successful in doing so, his defeat of vice-admiral Necrid and Fredric Bagans. The joining the Hakuri Pirates, committing crimes as a member of the crew and joining and participating in on the attack on Jousai Down.
