Dark Hammer Bros. are shadowed versions of a Hammer Bro that only appear in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials (Rooms, 46, 66, 93, and 99) in Super Paper Mario. They are the toughest type of Hammer Bros. and have a large amount of HP and Defense. However, what they have in defense, they lack in attack power. The hammers that a Dark Hammer Bro throws can go through bricks making them more dangerous to Mario and his allies. The Dark Hammer Bro is shaped exactly like a regular Hammer Bro, only it is completely shaded black. Interestingly, the hammers it throws are also shaded black. Apparently they can be deadly depending where they are in the pit of 100 trails. They are some of the strongest enemies in the Paper Mario Games. It's best to take them out ASAP or they will inflict some major damage points.
