  • A sting is a Nature-based poison that usually features a damage over time component. The ability to apply stings is exclusive to hunters and requires a ranged weapon. Like curses cast by warlocks, each sting addresses a different situation. Also, like curses, only one sting can be active on a target per hunter. * Scorpid Sting - Reduces chance to hit with melee and ranged attacks by 5% for 20 seconds. * Serpent Sting - Causes Nature damage over 15 seconds. * Viper Sting - Drains mana over 8 seconds. * Wyvern Sting - Puts the target to sleep for 12 seconds. Any damage will cancel the effect. When the target wakes up, the Sting causes Nature damage over 12 seconds. (Requires the tier 7 Survival talent Wyvern Sting.)
