abstract
  • The United States Presidential Election, 2024 was held on November 5th, 2024 to elect the next President of the United States. The contest was between Republican nominee Natalie J. Moore, and Democratic nominee, Tulsi Gabbard. Moore and the Republicans ran a campaign focusing on lower taxes, a strong economy and strong defence. They also emphasised that unemployment had fallen below 9 million for the first time since 2007, and inflation was standing at 4%, its lowest level for some 20 years. The tabloid media also had strong support for Gabbard, particularly The New York Times, which ran anti-Moore articles with headlines such as: Why I'm backing Moore, by Adolf Hitler. Gabbard moved the Democrats towards a more leftist platform than under Sanders.
