- Mundus ist der Herrscher der Dämonenwelt und hat daher auch das uneingefochtene Sagen. Er ist ein sehr skrupelloser und eiskalter Herrscher. Verrat und Versagen werden bei ihm sofort mit dem Tode bestraft. Jedoch ist seine Macht nicht so groß wie die von Sparda. Seine Persönlichkeit entspricht die eines typischen Monarchen. Er besitzt eine starke Armee und nutzt diese geschickt gegen Dante und wird deshalb auch sehr wie ein Monarch eingeschätzt. Mundus besitzt ebenfalls militärisches Wissen. Der Grundgedanke für Mundus stammt von Napoléon den I. Es ist auch bekannt das er eine homosexuelle Liebe hatte, seine Rechte Hand: Griffon. Es ist außerdem auch ein Verhältnis mit Sanctus (Devil may Cry 4) bekannt.

Niektóre Aedry oddały się w całości tworzeniu Mundus, co zaowocowało stworzeniem ośmiu planet (nie licząc Nirn). Nazywano ich także ośmioma Bóstwami. He is rumored to have caused swarms of aggressive gnats to terrorize High Hall, and the villagers have since refused to trade with him because of it. Quintus suspects that revenge is now motivating him to cause trouble in High Hall, and you receive the quest The Runes of Wrath to take care of Mundus and the trolls that have been showing up around the village. Mundus shows disdain towards the villagers, calling them "backwards peasants," but is willing to compromise if a method of acquiring food can be found that doesn't require him to deal with them again.
- Mundus, es el plano mortal. Al igual que la Tierra, esta dividido en varios continentes y océanos. La creación de Mundus, el plano mortal, fue ideada por Lorkhan, aunque no se explica muy bien cual fue su motivación para emprender semejante empresa.
