Alain Raymond was a Canadian professional goaltender who played one NHL game for the Washington Capitals. He was born on June 26, 1965, in Rimouski, Quebec. Raymond played major junior for the Hull Olympiques and the Trois-Rivières Draveurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 1982 to 1985. He was drafted 215th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Raymond made his NHL debut on December 9, 1987, when he played in the last two periods of a Capitals' 5-4 loss to the Hartford Whalers.
