Sunburn is a form of radiation burn that affects living tissue, such as skin, that results from an overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, commonly from the sun. Common symptoms in humans and other animals include red or reddish skin that is hot to the touch, pain, general fatigue, and mild dizziness. An excess of UV radiation can be life-threatening in extreme cases. Exposure of the skin to lesser amounts of UV radiation will often produce a suntan.

- Every member of the Aqua Raider Team is a cruel and dirty pirate, and its female member Sunburn is certainly no exception. The classic "vamp", Sunburn delights in tormenting her victims both physically and mentally.
- A sunburn is the result of a paranormal, uncommon, hardly ever studied disease that appears on those who attempt to suntan but their skin is as white as cottage cheese. This often happens when they are on vacation or are just acting high and stupid at the same time, and that happens a lot, especially with teenagers who often develop skin cancer from it.
- Sunburn is a song from Muse's 1999 debut album Showbiz. It was released as the fourth single from the album on double-CD and 7" vinyl on February 21st, 2000. CD1 was released with the B-sides Ashamed and a live version of Sunburn; CD2 with the Yes Please and a live version of Uno; and the 7" with a live acoustic version of Sunburn. __TOC__
- >"Roast 'N' Toast!" —Sunburn's official catchphrase Sunburn (サンバーン in Japanese) is a phoenix dragon hybrid who is one of the playable Skylanders in the Skylanders series, first appearing in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The Dragon's Peak Adventure Pack is the only product he is included in.
- "Sunburn" is the sixth episode of Thunderbirds 2086, and seventeenth produced overall. The episode first aired in Japan on September 4, 1982.
- Marvin got a sunburn while he was on Solar Terrarium, because the intense sunshine from the Solar Terrarium sun was far greater than Earth's sun.
- Sunburn is a phoenix dragon hybrid Skylander in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. He is voiced by Troy Baker who also voiced Rattle Shake, Fiesta, Brock, Hawkeye from Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble, and many others.
- Prevention of the condition is the best defence. In sunny climes, including snow with bright sunlight, clothing over the entire body is recommended, including a hat with a wide brim. Sunscreen is also effective. Moreover, exposure to sunlight over time will create melanin, a skin pigment which can safely absorb ultraviolet. As a rule, 15 minutes of exposure the first day followed by 30 the next and an hour the following day will usually allow tanning without burning.
- The SUNBURN is similar to [RETRACTED], but is statistically superior. While their maximum and minimum damages are the same, their damage drop-offs are dramatically different. The [RETRACTED] maximum damage begins to drop at 300M and ends at 480M, while the SUNBURN's drop-off begins at 31.75 KM and ends at 45.72 KM. This, along with the SUNBURN's extreme rate of fire and no recoil gives it an edge over the [RETRACTED]. The SUNBURN fires PCSR (Princess [RETRACTED] Solar rounds) ammo provided by inserting [REDACTED] rounds through SCP-914 at 1,500 rounds per second.
- Sunburn occurs when Sims stay outside in the sun too long. It was introduced with Seasons and with Bon Voyage, where a Sim can get a sunburn on Twikkii Island. It can also occur from prolonged exposure to the sun from sunbathing on the beach. When a Sim gets a sunburn, their face and portrait turns red. Sometimes if a Sim is in the sunburned position for too long they will faint and will have suffered heatstroke. This can be resolved in 3 ways:
