Green Spaces (known as Happening Spaces from Mario Party through Mario Party 5 a.k.a. ? Spaces) is a green space with a question mark on it typically found on the various game boards in the Mario Party series. Ordinarily they activate special board-specific events that can change the outcome of a turn or even a whole game. In most games, a Bonus Star is awarded to the player that lands on more of these spaces than any other player at the end of the game. The Green Space returns in Mario Party 9, renamed the Event Space, but with the same effects.

- A Green Space is a space in the park that has been filled with flowers. A space filled with soil becomes a Green Space after 30 Flowers are planted in that space. Once Chibi-Robo fills the entire park with Green Spaces, it will obtain the Green Space Sticker, the Chibi-Robo Statue, and Citrusoft Construction and Co. will allow Chibi-Robo to make them do major renovations to the park.
