The Battle of Crownprice was a battle between the main Rebel force led by Dalan and Andren Karthmere, and the Crown led by Aegor IV Dragomyr and his most trusted general, Daemalor Celtheon. This battle was notable for being, among other things, the beginning of the final phase of the 346 AC rebellion. Although the Kingdom of Andoras successfully held its ground, they did not hold the city of Crownprice for long, and the main battle force on the defensive side led by Daemalor Celtheon was called to the north in a campaign against Thyllanor and the Moonlyt Peaks, while Taeronys and Aegor IV Dragomyr returned to the capital city of Dragonspire a few weeks later, in a skirmish that left many of their remaining men dead, during the First Siege of Dragonspire. Most notably, Crownprice started it

  • The Battle of Crownprice was a battle between the main Rebel force led by Dalan and Andren Karthmere, and the Crown led by Aegor IV Dragomyr and his most trusted general, Daemalor Celtheon. Most notably, Crownprice started its period of destruction at this battle, which would be further rectified a year later during the Destruction of Crownprice which resulted in the annihilation of the city and its population. It was at this battle, then, that many Rebel generals first earned their name. A young Andren Karthmere brought the newly-founded Crimson Lions to the field and led the central flank when Dalan Karthmere left for Dragonspire City. Gothaen Synthor then took over in his stead when Andren himself also left, and proved to be just as effective when he demonstrated his knowledge of tactics.Albrod Calnus, then a lieutenant, was promoted to the rank of auxiliary general -- only under that of Andren and Dalan themselves -- for his heroic defense against the final charge of the battle led by Aegor Dragomyr himself. Borus Haren, leader of the Stone Knights, also played an integral role when he did everything he could in his power to hold the left flank, which had collapsed due to upheaval in the ranks. Because of his actions, far less men died than was necessary, most of whom were archers and footmen. Aiding him in this was his Lord Paramount, Helman Stone, who led a cavalry charge opposite of Aegor's own, striking while they were vulnerable and staying behind to ensure that the armies could reach Dragonspire for the First Siege. Dalan Karthmere proved himself to be the symbolic leader of the rebellion, giving a rousing speech before the battle which cited his position as "son of the last man who gave the kingdom what-for" as sufficient evidence to prove he deserved this victory more than anyone else.
