| - After Escha, Logy and friends finally make it past the storm thanks to the Dreadnaught they built and begin investigating the ruins, Logy first notices that there was no wind at all despite flying through a storm a few minutes ago, making him wonder that if someone was controlling the climate to prevent people from getting any closer. After making it inside, Logy is amazed that there are still working facilities in the ruin. Threia Hazelgrimm explains that The Unexplored Ruins aren't ruins at all, since everything is still operational and even wonders what were they researching until Escha notices the smell of flowers in the air. Soon they find what appears to be a capsule with the smell of flowers coming from it close by. Soon they began to think that the plants they've been seeing outside might have from inside and questions why a facility researching on plants is high above the clouds in the first place continuing onwards till they fight with Dragoon, a Dragon-type slag that serves as the mini-boss. Further in, the group are stopped when they first encounter Flameu. When Escha asks why the ruins were built in the first place, Flameu responds by saying that the world needed to be saved due to a promise before the ruins start shaking. While this is going on, Flameu calls for Gullveig to prevent the group from getting any closer before she disappears. Once the group reach the center of the ruins, they spot a strange machine in the center that appears to keep the ruins afloat. Once again, Flameu appears before and Logy asks if she's the one protecting the ruins. All she tells them is spring is coming and that she will not let humans interfere. Having the feeling that something bad would happen the group try to stop her, but are soon intercepted by Flameu's Guardian, Gullveig, as they have no choice but to fight the beast. After beating the beast, its body disappears as Flameu activates Geosis' system, making Logy realize that the battle with Gullveig was just only to buy her some time to fully activate the system. Realizing that the ruins was about to fall from the sky, the group hurries back to the Dreadnaught, only to find out that Escha hasn't made it back yet. As Escha hurries back to the ship, the ground underneath her crumbles forcing her to grabs on to a nearby branch until it snaps, causing her to fall until Logy (who was riding the nose of the airship while attached to cable) jumped to grab her in time. Soon the two are holding on to each other as they fly away from the ruins, which was causing the ground it was landing on to grow crystal-like flowers and make them bloom. After returning, Escha and Logy discovered that Flameu and Clone were friends back in ancient times. They also discovered that the ruins was one of many management facilities created with the intention to turn a deserted wasteland into a lush environment. But Flameu thought it wouldn't happen as long as humans existed. Despite Clone's pleas to stay and continue to work together with the humans, Flameu gave Clone an apple seed to take care of and left, taking Geosis with her to the sky before surrounding it with a storm along with a ring of debris to keep people away from getting close. Thus, the legend of the Unexplored Ruins was born.
