Dharma Wants You is an online experience connected to the ABC TV show LOST.
The story follows a fictitious scientific community from LOST, The Dharma Initiative, as it attempts to recruit and assess volunteers for a secret research project.
By completing an 'Eligibility Test' and registering on dharmawantsyou.com audience members enroll as volunteer recruits for the Dharma Initiative.
Each week audience members will have the opportunity to complete a test that assesses their abilities in a particular skill.

The Dharma Initiative is a multidisiplinary research collective dedicated to improving the human condition through innovative scientific research. Our directors are recognized leaders in their fields, with distinguished research histories in a wide range of social and scientific disciplines.

Ein Newsletter von Octagon Global Recruiting hat die angemeldeten Teilnehmer darüber informiert, dass auf dieser Seite ab dem 28. Juli 2008 die Eignungstests, die im Rahmen der Comic Con stattfinden, für einen begrenzten Zeitraum auch online verfügbar sind. Zunächst steht auf der Seite nur der Text "DHARMA WANTS YOU" und "Coming Soon". Im Hintergrund ist nach und nach ein Muster aus Punkten aufgetaucht, dass die Form des neuen DHARMA Logos hat. Am 29. Juli 2008 wurde die Seite gestartet, was einen Tag später ist als es angekündigt wurde. Teilnehmer von der Comic-Con können dort ihren Code eingeben und neue Teilnehmer können den Eignungstest nachholen und sich anmelden. Über einen Zeitraum von mehreren Wochen sollen weitere Tests aus verschiedenen Bereichen zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Am 20. August 2008 wurde das Testprogramm gestartet, was ebenfalls ein Tag später als angekündigt ist.
