Early 90 's she was the figurehead of the Dutch gymnastics. From this revival would later originate among other Verona van de Leur . She participated in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and ended up here on the 22nd place, what was the best Dutch performance since Ans van Gerwen in 1972.
