Unbeknownst to either of them, Knuckles was meeting with Rotor of the Kingdom of Acorn, who had discovered that Mobius was in grave peril unless Knuckles and Sonic, who had long ceased to be on good terms and argued constantly when together, put aside their quarrels and joined the resources of Angel Island and the Kingdom.
