Myron Zuckerman (d. 1916) was a Socialist Congressman from New York City's Upper East Side, a position he had served in since before the turn of the century. He fell down a staircase to his death in Philadelphia in 1916 while walking with Congressman Potts. New York Governor MacFarlane appointed Daniel Miller to replace him, but in the next election after his death, Flora Hamburger soundly defeated Miller.

Zuckerman was close to many of the young Socialist operatives in his district, including Herman Bruck, who considered him a mentor, almost a father figure. Even in 1945, Flora Hamburger, now Flora Blackford, rememberd Zuckerman fondly as one of the bravest men she'd met.
