| - ===Origins===
Violet was originally born in Rome, Italy to a middle-upper class family to Antonio Hidalgo and Emila Fiore, her mother keeping her last name despite the two being married. During her earlier life Violet had a relatively normal family experience and grew up with a rather luxurious life style. Even with this life style though she was never a spoiled brat nor always begged for something she wanted. In fact, from a young age her parents drilled into her the ethics of hard work and always keeping true to her beliefs.
This is one thing that always stayed with Violet as she grew up. From a young age she always strived to do her best at anything, including school and the close friends she developed during her time in Rome. Her grades were usually excellent and she rarely caused any trouble except for the occasional outburst usually common among young children. It was also during her years between five and six Violet did show some interest in learning the arts of Muay Thai and Jujitsu, to which her parents enrolled her into two dojos in which she could learn. Although, during these first years she didn’t take these practices quite that seriously until by the time she was nine things began to change in her home.
Things began first with her father, who was a scientist working in genetics, began facing issues at work with having his previous good source of income beginning to go into a decline. This started shortly after Violet turned nine and gradually got worse over the next year, driving her father into a depression and turning to alcohol to drown out his problems. Her mother’s own job of working part-time at the local theaters in assisting with preparing shows such as make up and back drops hardly helped in this aspect. Financial problems began to cause even further friction for her parents and Violet was soon facing an enraged father who began taking his anger out on his wife and daughter, both physically and mentally abusing the two. This eventually caused Violet to look for other outlets to help in escaping the hell that had broken out in her home, causing her to take her martial arts classes far more seriously that helped her to discipline herself and keep on the right path.
After a few years however, the violence began to grow so badly in the home Violet wound up getting in the middle of one of her father’s raging outbursts and faced an even worse beating than others before. Though, instead of really getting a beating she was lashed several times by her father’s belt, which split the skin and actually would come to leave scars later in life. This however, triggered one of her first mutations-her amethyst form to serve as a defense and which she used to overpower her father and force him off her. After this incident Emila sent Violet away to live with her uncle on her father’s side in the United States, which ended up with Violet living in New York City. Being able to recover and get her life straight Violet came to find some interest in guns due to her uncle being a police officer of the NYPD and he began teaching her the basics at the age of thirteen.
From that moment on Violet easily began to adapt to her new American life and continued to excel in her studies and practice with her new found powers. But during one of these training sessions, to which she often did in the backyard of her uncle’s suburban home, she began to notice something odd and that when she was deeply focusing or concentrating her thoughts things began to hover or fly across the room or backyard. A little surprised Violet further began concentrating consciously and began to realize she had a secondary power of telekinesis when she was sixteen. By the time she was eighteen Violet finally gained enough control she decided she wanted to try to make a difference in the world and began calling herself Juvela as a codename and wearing a specific kind of clothing to help make it difficult for some to recognize her.
Joining the X-traordinary X-men
Her actions, however, didn't go unnoticed by the likes of the Jean Grey School, the first to detect her after some time passed. At first when she was approached by some of the X-men Violet had not been so keen to take up their offer, though after a little thought and talk with her uncle she decided to take up their offer and left to join the school. Though she would soon be joined by four other new mutants who's powers had just activated or began to activate for the first time. Shortly after the arrival of Lance Bond, the last member of the soon to be formed group, Laurie was tasked with taking her and the other four under her wing to be trained as X-men.
But she also is unknowingly being trained by Laurie to be part of a more covert team of younger X-men.
Personality
When it comes to Violet, this woman can be described as having nerves of steel and a very out-spoken kind of person. She finds no reason to not speak her mind or express her thoughts on any matter no matter if it's good or bad, she just won't be the type you'd see holding her tongue and letting someone speak for her. Violet certainly holds a great deal of pride and confidence, holding herself up high and never allowing someone to belittle her or those she grows to care for, whether it's as family or just friends. She stands firm and never backs down, no matter what could be at stake for her own life.
On the flip side, Violet does know when to keep a level head and seems to be very quick-witted, able to think on her feet and adapt to a situation with ease. And despite her upbringing in her earlier life she is compassionate, kind, and good natured but also strong-willed and stubborn. She is also a tough person to dissuade from something she has set her mind to and may often ignore someone or tell them off. On occasions she can be somewhat of a flirt and a little manipulative to get her way, but she rarely shows this side or only on certain occasions when it's needed.

| - *Muay Thai/Jujitsu:Since Violet was young she has taken it upon herself to learn how to fight and defend herself, a way she used to discipline her mind and body during her rather abusive, chaotic life. The use of Muay Thai did well to help Violet to utilize stand-up striking and clinching techniques with the "art of eight limbs" mostly with fists, elbows, knees, shins, and feet, making her efficient as a full-contact fighter. With Jujitsu Violet learned more of the grappling aspect of Martial Arts, allowing her to utilize throws, joint locks, striking, and many other forms that fall into this category. Her skills could be estimated to be a first-level black belt in Muay Thai and currently a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu.
**From Jujitsu Violet also learned to use some short weapons, having come to favor daggers or small knives and two metal tonfas with ejectable blades along the sides.
*Excellent Singer:Violet has a natural talent for singing, her voice being described as melodic and soft for those who have heard her. Though this is usually something she does on the side and more of a hobby then something she could make use of.
*Decent Firearms User:Since roughly around the age of 13 Violet has grown a slight interest in firearms thanks to her uncle on her father's side, leading her to take up trying it herself. Since then she has become decently accurate with small hand guns, being able to hit a target accurately from 15-20 feet away.
*Multilingual:Due to a mixed heritage from both of her parents Violet has grown up knowing three different languages fluently. These are English and Spanish from her father and Italian from her mother.
*Extremely Intelligent:Violet has shown herself to be a very intelligent young woman, being able to skip a few grades in her younger years and is quick to pick up on knew things she is learning. She is also usually looking for something that can be mentally challenging as even being in college she has had to hold back a bit to not completely getting ahead of others in her class.

| - *Violet tends to rely more on her telekinesis than any other power but despite how powerful it is much of her psionic ability needs much focus and concentration mentally and is affected by her emotional and physical well-being.
*Her organic amethyst form can last a while but this results in Violet becoming fairly exhausted, even sometimes causing fainting and prevents use of her telekinesis. Also hitting certain fault lines or enough times to cause it to break makes her return to normal and she usually has to wait a few hours to use it.
*Though Violet can sense one's true emotions she has to have physical contact with someone in order to implant or change their mood.
*Those with a strong will and/or psionic resistance can have resistance to her empathy or weaken it's effects.
*Violet's out-spoken nature and stubbornness tends to get her into trouble or cause some friction between her and others and other times she seems trouble prone.

| - *Organic Amethyst Form:Violet takes on a flexible, organic amethyst-like form that grants her some enhanced attributes and which she can use for maximum over a week. In this form she doesn't need food, oxygen, or water to survive.
**Enhanced Strength:In this form Violet can lift maximum of half a ton or at least 1,000 lbs or is strong enough to punch a hole through titanium steel, one of the strongest metals on earth.
**Enhance Stamina:Violet can last for a week without truly getting tired or fatigue toxins building up quickly, but when she changes back or forced to change back this can cause her to become quite exhausted or even faint.
**Enhanced Durability:Her amethyst form is very hard and difficult to break, making her able to withstand several blows before her form can break and causing her to change back.
*Telekinesis:Violet is a powerful telekinetic with being able to move things with her mind or manipulate psionic energy but is still working to fully develop this power. Her maximum limit in weight is roughly the same as that of her enhanced strength in Amethyst form. At the moment Violet can do a number of things with great mental control which consist of the following:
**Binding:By mentally concentrating on a person or object, Violet is able to physically keep that person or object in place. In fact, she makes them practically immobile which allows her or any allies she might have to attack or to prevent someone escaping. When used on objects, this can prevent them being used or moving at all.
**Maneuver:Violet can change the direction of an attack when it is sent towards her or change the course of an object. This means she can usually deflect an attack with a flick of her wrist, turn of her head, or a wave of her hand, which can be done the same way when changing an objects direction as well of where it might land previously. Usually, if she can see or sense the object within her vicinity she can affect such things without looking at them but she normally must be aware of the objects or attacks.
**Push/Pull:Violet can be described as having a magnetic effect when using this. She will use her telekinesis to cause items or people to be moved towards her, usually being somewhat difficult to escape though not impossible. With the push, Violet has a reverse effect in which she can cause a telekinetic wave that causes anything close to her to be pushed away. How strong this pull and push is depends on how much energy and force she uses for each one, though some can avoid this just from strength alone, usually super strength, and from pure ingenuity.
**Flight:Using her telekinesis on herself, Violet is able to lift herself into the air. It can be something as simple as levitating and hovering to literally flying at short distances at high speeds, usually protecting herself with a telekinetic force field against the winds. The maximum speeds she will go is about 25 mph when flying and she will only fly, hover, or levitate to about 600 feet high.
**Spatial Sense:With the use of Spatial Sense Violet can use her telekinesis to “see” a target or objects within her vicinity. That is she can sense disturbances or vibrations within the air roughly in a 320-foot radius of herself which enables her to know if something or someone new has entered the environment. Usually though she has to concentrate in order to use this and is normally what gives her some advantage of avoiding surprise attacks or being startled, though she normally uses this in such cases when she is in danger.
**Concussive force blasts:Violet can concentrate telekinetic energy through her hands or other parts of her body in the form of blasts or beams that range in power, mostly depending on how much concentration and energy she puts behind them. The beams can usually range from being small like a laser light that cuts clean through most material to something perhaps the size of her head that causes quite a bit of damage. These blasts can go through most metals, stone, brick, rock, glass, and wood like it’s nothing.
**Compression:Violet can easily crush most objects like someone could crush a tin can in their fists. Despite being able to easily lift 1,000 lbs with her ability, she prefers to focus on much smaller objects when it comes to using her compression. This will range from something as small as a quarter to something no bigger than a table or maybe a bedside table. There objects can then be used as perhaps weapons, tools, or even physical projectiles if there are none available.
**Cutting:Violet can concentrate psionic energy into thin crescent blades in which she can then send flying towards targets, usually objects or people. These blades can vary in size and number, usually the larger they are the fewer she has and the smaller they are the more she tends to make and they are all usually razor sharp and can cut through something as strong as titanium. Though, Violet can also choose to make a kind of telekinetic “sword” from these blades, varying the blade to being as long as a broad sword to being a small as a dagger to which she can use in close combat purposes. There are also times she can uses these same “Swords” for other things outside battle or training.
**Force Fields:Violet can create shields of psionic energy due to her telekinesis that differ in shape and density. They allow her to protect from energy and element-based attacks plus physical projectiles for certain amounts of time which can vary depending on the range she is expanding the shield and the number of people she is trying to protect. Using it for too long can therefore put a heavy drain on her energy, usually longer than two hours will begin to wear on Violet when just on her own and at a short range but at a broader range and protecting many people she can hold up a force field for almost an hour. However, should someone be stronger than her Violet’s force fields could easily be shattered and have a similar appearance to glass shattering.
*Empathy:This enables her to sense the emotions of others and know what they are truly feeling while also being able to implant a different emotion into a person. With physical contact, Violet can then have a mental contact with this person, enabling her to think up a new emotion within her own mind and transfer it to the person she has contact with. Thus her thoughts can influence her target and trick the part of the brain that deals with emotions into feeling the one she implanted instead.
